“ The referral service saves valuable time because they took my needs & matched them with three qualified therapists with the type of training and experience I was looking for. ”
Founded in 1976, we're a cooperative of women psychotherapists, screened for ethical and professional excellence. We offer a variety of approaches to psychotherapy but share a common perspective in viewing the client as a whole person capable of growth and healing. Typically there are 35-38 clinicians in our organization at any one time, affording you an ample range of choices and allowing the referral coordinator to make knowledgeable matches.
Our Seattle therapists, experienced professionals with many years in private psychotherapy practice, include clinical psychologists, social workers, master's level counselors, marriage and family therapists, and a psychiatric nurse practitioner with prescriptive authority. All offer individual therapy, and some also offer couples and/or family therapy.
We offer counseling and psychotherapy in a range of therapeutic orientations. This includes but is not limited to psychodynamic, family of origin, cognitive-behavioral, expressive, systems, energy and somatic therapies. We also offer approaches incorporating recent brain research, such as mindfulness work. About Psychotherapy gives more information on some of the major approaches to therapy.
Each therapist works autonomously, and has full and separate legal therapeutic responsibility for her clients.
